Healthy Tikki
Ingredients
- ¼ cup oats
- 2 tablespoons pressed rice (poha) ,washed and drained
- ¼ cup blanched and crushed mixed sprouts
- 1 teaspoon grated carrot
- 1 teaspoon grated beetroot
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
- 1 teaspoon oil
Spices
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
Age Group: 12 months & above
- 1 Mix oats, pressed rice, mixed sprouts, carrot, beetroot, salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and fresh coriander in a bowl.
- 2 Divide into small portions and shape into tikkis.
- 3 Heat a non-stick tawa and drizzle the oil. Shallow fry the tikkis till golden brown .
- 4 Soak the excess oil with an absorbent paper and serve at room temperature.
