Banana and Apple Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 elaichi banana, peeled and finely chopped
- ¼ cup peeled and finely chopped apple
- 2 tablespoons semolina (suji)
- 2 tablespoons grated jaggery (gur)
- A pinch green cardamom powder
- A few saffron strands, dissolved in warm water
Age Group: 8 -10 months
- 1Dry roast semolina in a non-stick pan till lightly browned. Add apple and banana and mix well.
- 2Add jaggery and 1½ cups water, mix well and cook till the apple turns soft.
- 3Add cardamom powder and saffron, mix well and cook for a minute.
- 4Serve warm.
